At 52mg/​100ml, the Biotta Bio En­ergy batch L2105 con­tains more caf­feine than is usual in Bio En­ergy. The higher con­tent comes from nat­ural fluc­tu­a­tions in the guarana ex­tract pow­der, which we have not suf­fi­ciently taken into ac­count in this batch. This only ap­plies to cans from batch L2105, which are marked with a sticker on the open­ing tab. All other Bio En­ergy batches con­tain 32mg/​100ml of caf­feine, and cans do not have a sticker on the open­ing tab. The sale of the prod­uct has been agreed with the rel­e­vant au­thor­ity, the Thur­gau can­tonal lab­o­ra­tory. The caf­feine con­tent of 52mg/​100ml is com­pa­ra­ble to that of an av­er­age cup of cof­fee and poses no health risk.
